It's been a slow, frustrating climb for Cincinnati in the 2025 class, but the Bearcats got some big news on Saturday night.

Riverdale Baptist (Md.) three-star wide receiver Giyahni 'Geo' Kontosis announced via a live stream that he's committed to the Bearcats. He chose Cincinnati over his other finalists, Indiana, Maryland, Tennessee and Pittsburgh.

Kontosis officially visited the Bearcats May 31.

"It just felt great," Kontosis previously told BearcatReport.com. "There’s people coming up everywhere and it was a great experience, being around the coaches. They made me feel like it was home. I definitely built more relationships with each and every coach there and I was learning more details there.”

Kontosis was recruited primarily by assistant coach Brad Glenn. Along with three-star cornerback Jahmari DeLoatch, Kontosis is Cincinnati's highest-ranked addition in its 2025 recruiting class.
