Ridder commits to UC

Cincinnati added another key piece to the 2017 puzzle with the commitment of Desmond Ridder a quarterback from Louisville (KY) who grew up a Cardinals fan.

Ridder visited Cincinnati over the weekend and decided to announce his commitment on Saturday night.

"A few things went into my decision, first was that I loved the campus and everything to do with it," he told Bearcat Report. "It is one of the nicest campuses I've ever seen, second the coaches and administration took me in like I was already apart of the team, I could tell that they really wanted me to be apart of the Bearcat family and I really felt something there, and lastly the great football program I've grown up watching some of their games and I know they play on the big time stages and that's where I want to be in a year from now."

Ridder said he may take other visits in the future, but he is committed to the Cincinnati program.
