Last week, Cincinnati hired Mike Tressel as defensive coordinator to replace Marcus Freeman, who departed for the same position at Notre Dame. And on Thursday, the Bearcats finally introduced him to the media and made the move official.

Tressehad been at Michigan State since 2007. He spent last season as the safeties coach and 2015 to 2019 as either the full or co-defensive coordinator.
