Official Visit for Lamb finalizes Cincinnati commitment

For Cody Lamb, a mid-year enrollee, it was never really about whether or not he was going to be a Bearcat. To him, it was much more about who was going to be the Head Coach after Tuberville's decision earlier this month.

This past weekend's official visit to the Queen City locked up Lamb, and he is extremely excited for the future at Cincinnati with Coach Fickell and whoever he does decided to bring in on the staff.

"The tour of campus was extremely nice, we got to see the inside and outside of Cincinnati. The food was amazing, by far some of the best food I have ever experienced. Meeting Coach Fickell was definitely the highlight of my visit, he seemed like an amazing dude that has a ton of energy and he had me pumped to have him as my coach. I can't wait to talk to him again soon.

As a mid-year enrollee, for a brief moment when several others were re-opening their recruitment (Greene, McCaskill, etc.) Lamb thought about his other options, but he stayed patient and stayed committed while waiting for an answer.

Lamb will be graduating later this month, and enrolling in time to participate in spring practice.
