BCR was able to catch up with McConnell shortly after his visit. He talked very highly of the new staff and what they have been able to do already.

"The mentality of the new coaching staff really draws me in. They have a vision, and are going to make this into something very special." He also mentioned that he is really looking forward to building a strong relationship with new OL Coach Crook.

As for his on-field fit, McConnell sees himself fitting right in at Tackle.

"I think I will fit in better at left tackle because that's where I have been playing for a few years now, but I will do whatever I can to help the team!"

McConnell is the Bearcats 17th commit for the class of 2017, and you can see his Sr. highlights below.
