German defensive lineman Lorenz Metz has been down to Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and Connecticut for a few weeks. Sunday, he made his decision and today, he announced it.

As BearcatReport.com reported Sunday, Metz gave his commitment to the Bearcats. Today, he announced his decision in a video posted on his Twitter account and sent them his letter of intent.

Metz officially visited Cincinnati Dec. 2. But it wasn't until after he officially visited Georgia Tech this past weekend that he made up his mind.

Though the video Metz posted was in German, he ended it by saying the Bearcats' moniker, "Let it fly."

Metz also officially visited UCONN Dec. 9, Central Michigan Nov. 17 and UMASS Oct. 27.
