Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce currently has the Cincinnati Bearcats single season record for receptions as a tight end with 45. Redshirt junior Joe Royer in his first season with the Bearcats has eclipsed the record that has stood since 2012.

In the third quarter Royer broke the record with 46 receptions.
