This month, Cincinnati had a pair of closed-door scrimmages, closed to media and spectators, to try to prepare for its upcoming season.

The Bearcats dropped their second and final one, Saturday morning, 77-64 to Purdue. The teams met on a neutral floor in Indianapolis.
