Cincinnati picked up a big basketball commitment on Friday from former Washington signee Mamoudou Diarra. Diarra got his release from the Huskies after they fired head coach Lorenzo Romar and picked the Bearcats over Missouri.

"Thank you to all the coaches that been putting interested on me and all the relationships i get chance to have with them but I feel like Cincinnati is the best spot for me to show case my talent and hope to win the national championship," he said.

He played for 22 Feet Academy in Greenville, SC.
