Ty Van Fossen the first 2018 commit for the Bearcats
The Bearcats have began the class of 2018 the same way they finished the class of 2017.
Exactly one month following NSD 2017 in which the Bearcats finished as strongly as any team in the G5, Coach Fickell has his first 2018 commitment on board.

Ty Van Fossen, a three-star ATH from St. Francis DeSales in Columbus, chose the Bearcats over other offers from Boston College, Rutgers, and Toledo among others.
Expect this to be the first of several (!) commitments for the Bearcats from DeSales, with Brian Asamoah possibly being the next to commit.
