Chambers picks UC

Cincinnati has been on a roll recruiting in June and the Bearcats staff picked up a huge piece of the 2017 recruiting puzzle in three-star defensive tackle Tyrone Chambers. The Bearcats kept Chambers at home in-state.

"I have an extremely close relationship with all the Cincinnati coaches," Chambers said. "I love the campus and the environment there and that is why I decided to commit today."

The Bearcats want Chambers to anchor the interior of the Cincinnati defensive line in the future and the defender said he felt like he was one of the biggest priorities for Cincinnati's 2017 class from coach Tommy Tuberville.

"Coach Tuberville was so excited when I committed I thought he was going to cry. I believe he wanted me more than anyone else on their board and the Bearcats staff always made me feel like I was their number one priority guy," he said.

Chambers also said he is shutting down his recruitment which is a good sign for the Brush HS star from Lyndhurst.

"I'm gonna chill out my recruitment now," he said.

The Bearcats have added six commitments for a total of ten in the 2017 recruiting class.
