Bearcats to Face Nebraska in Indianapolis

Cincinnati and Nebraska have rescheduled their series and will now play during the 2025 season, in Indianapolis. The game will take place in Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, instead of at Nippert Stadium, but will still be hosted by the Bearcats.

The game will take place Aug. 30, 2025.

Cincinnati also announced Tuesday night that it has bought out one series and one return game. The Bearcats have bought out their home and home series with Western Kentucky, scheduled for 2025 and 2026 for $500,000 and bought out their game in 2026 at Ohio for another $500,000.

According to FBSchedules.com, which obtained a public records request, Cincinnati and Nebraska will play a return game at Memorial Stadium, on Sept. 11, 2032. For the 2025 game, the Bearcats will pay the Huskers 25% of all ticket revenue or $400,000, the greater amount between the two. Nebraska will receive 500 lower level tickets at no cost and will also receive 1,000 lower level tickets to sell which will be priced at $25 per ticket.

FBSchedules.com also reports that for the game in 2032, the Huskers will provide 400 tickets to the Bearcats at no cost. Cincinnati may also request up to 2,600 tickets for purchase that may be sold by its athletic department.

The Bearcats' non-conference slate is now set for 2024, but has an opening in 2025. In 2024, they host Towson and Pittsburgh and play at Miami (OH). In 2025, Cincinnati hosts Miami (OH).

The Bearcats are set with non-conference games currently for the 2026 season. Cincinnati is slated to host Boston College, as well as WKU, the latter a return game. The Bearcats play Miami (OH) at Paycor Stadium.
