Asamoah recaps recent Cincinnati visit

3-star St. Francis ATH Brian Asamoah had a busy weekend. After visiting Cincinnati last Friday, Asamoah visited both Pitt and West Virginia on Saturday before ending his weekend tour of the region with a visit to Penn State.

BCR caught up wit Asamoah earlier this week on his busy weekend.

"I really enjoyed my visit to Cincinnati. It's up there with the best of the ones I took over the weekend," he said.

Asamoah went into detail on what he was able to do during his time in the Queen City.

"I had the chance to sit in the film room with Coach Freeman, was able to talk to Coach Fickell, and to top it off I got the chance to talk with an academics advisor about the plan they have in place for athletes to graduate in 3 1/2 years."

Asamoah also talked about the facilities Cincinnati has in comparison to the others he visited.

"I love the renovations to the locker room. But to be honest, it is much more about the people then it is the facilities. Cincinnati has put together a great staff, and it would be special to be able to stay close to home."

Asamoah is releasing a top list of schools on Friday and BCR would be shocked if the Bearcats don't make the cut.
