4-star 2018 PG from Chicago excited by offer from Bearcats

It was an eventful two-day period for Ayo Dosunmu. After visiting in-state rival Xavier and receiving an offer from Coach Mack and the rest of the Musketeer staff, the PG from Morgan Park HS in Chicago, IL took the short travel (about 3.5 miles to be exact) to visit the University of Cincinnati.

BearcatReport was able to catch up with Ayo following his visit.

When asked about how his offer went down, Ayo had this to say; "Funny you ask that, Coach Cronin said something like, *your more than good enough to play here Ayo* I responded , "yes sir" but the whole time I'm thinking to myself (did he just offer me a scholarship?) My mom and I joked about it in the car and we had my dad who's still in Chicago to call Coach Jackson and verify." Pretty awesome way for Coach to hand out an offer, no doubt.

While Ayo would not admit which of the two visits were better than the other, he did say "They are both great schools, with great programs and great staff" when asked what stood out about the two schools.

While there is plenty of time between now and the time Dosunmu has to make a decision, this is what he told BearcatReport about what he is looking for at the next level: "A coaching staff that cares about winning and pushes the ball and will let me make plays in the open court. I want to win."

Dosunmu holds other early offers from Texas A&M, UNLV, and in-state Illinois among others. He is currently rated as the number twenty player in the nation for the class of 2018.
