Hoosier WR will visit

Indianapolis (IN) Pike WR Dyjuan Lewis recently picked up a Gamecock offer.

The talented pass-catcher caught 40 passes last season for Pike, and numerous schools have taken notice of his talents.

"Cincinnati, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Lousiville, South Carolina, Colorado, Iowa, and Kentucky have offered me," he said. "Wiscosin might offer soon."

Running backs coach Jay Graham is the recruiter of record for Lewis, as he spent some time in the area while he was at Miami of Ohio. Lewis talked to GamecockCentral.com about his impression of Graham.

"He seemed like a good coach," he said. "He told me that I would fit in well with the offense there."

Steve Spurrier'offense has caught the eye of the senior as well.

"I know that they throw the ball a good amount and have a good offense," he said.

Lewis added that he is trying to plan a visit to South Carolina sometime in the near future.

According to the youngster, who hauled in four touchdown catches last season, there are two factors that will be most important in making his decision:

"Early playing time and a good offense," he said.

There will be no early decision for Lewis; when asked when his choice will be revealed, he said the following:

"Signing Day."
