Ohio WR eyeing Missouri
Strongsville (OH) WR D.J. Woods was hoping for a better senior season. However, the season wasn't quite what he hoped for. A mid season injury forced Woods to the sidelines early this year. However, ultimately, the outcome may have been for the best.
With the season over, Woods has been able to turn his focus to recruiting. In the past few weeks he has been able to visit two of his schools in recruiting and hopes to visit a third in the very near future.
Along with visiting different schools, Woods has been hoping to welcome other schools into his home. He said that one school has already been in and he hoped that another will get the chance to be in his living room soon.
The Tigers are a new team on Woods' radar in the past month or so. He said that he has gotten to know Missouri coach Andy Hill fairly well. He said that he has enjoyed getting to know the Missouri coach and Woods added that the coach had helped him relaxed about the process.
Woods said that he hadn't seen much of the Tigers until well into the season. The past few weeks, though, Woods has been impressed with what he has been able to see coming from Columbia.
The speedy Woods has posted impressive times in the forty yard dash and that has colleges interested. Woods said, however, he was hoping to keep working on his game as he tried to mature on the field.
Earlier this year, Woods was committed to Nebraska, but since opening his commitment, five teams have emerged as the candidates for Woods. He said that he wasn't sure when he may have that answer, but that he hopes that he will have an idea sometime soon.
