Woods blows up big time

After putting on impressive performances at two recent combines, Strongsville (Ohio) Strongsville wide receiver D.J. Woods has seen his stock soar, if only because of the tremendous speed he showed. With a 40 (yard dash) time of 4.35 and a shuttle of 3.94 to his credit, it's easy to see why the 6-foot-0, 169-pound prospect has burst onto the scene and is now holding 17 scholarship offers.

With tenders from schools such as Nebraska, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Iowa, Pittsburgh, Indiana and Marshall, Woods is in the process of lining up and taking trips to several campuses. His plans include junkets to Michigan State, West Virginia, Wisconsin and probably Nebraska over the next 30-45 days and will go a long way towards him deciding where he wants to play his college football.
