Safety Hunsicker's recruiting continues to pick-up

For safety Vince Hunsicker, he is about to go on trio of Big Ten visits as the safety prospect is gearing up for his scheduled unofficial Midwest visits as his recruiting is beginning to reach its peak.

"I'm headed up to Northwestern, Purdue and Indiana for unofficial visits," says Hunsicker.

"On the 22nd I'm headed to Northwestern and the same with Purdue on the 12th of November. Then I will be going to Indiana on the 26th November."

So does the safety prospect have offers from any of these Big Ten programs?

"No offer yet, but I'm hoping for one from Northwestern soon and Purdue will probably be next, but who really knows I've been talking to them quite a bit," declares Hunsicker, who remains optimistic and shares that 2/3 schools have really caught his attention. "I'm not as interested in IU as I am with Northwestern and Purdue."

The 6-foot-3, 200 pound prospect from Lafayette (IN) McCutcheon High School has already visited Army, where he had an opportunity to see the football facilities and game day experience on the West Point campus as the Black Knights defeated Tulane 45-6 on October 1st.

According to Hunsicker, in addition to Army, he also holds offers from Cincinnati and Holy Cross.

In our previous conversation with the safety prospect, he had targeted November 26th as a date in which he might make his college decision. Since that time, Hunsicker has re-evaluated his timeline to what he considers to be a more logical calendar.

"A lot of the higher end academic schools that I am looking at, it takes so long to see if I made it into the school or not," shares Hunsicker, when discussing what can be a very draw out acceptance process for school like West Point, Davidson, Holy Cross and Brown.

GoBlackKnights.com will continue to follow the recruiting of safety prospect, Vince Hunsicker.
