Brown still solid as a Bulldog
Mississippi State commitment Ryan Brown finally got his senior season underway this past week.
Brown and the Archbishop Shaw (La.) had a shutout performance in their debut in a 34-0 win over Fisher.
Due to the lopsided score, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end only played in the first half recording two tackles, one stop for loss and a pair of quarterback hurries.
"The season is going pretty good," Brown said. "We started off our season with a win over Fisher 34-0. We've just got to make the little improvements in order to be a great team."
This week the Eagles will again be on the road traveling to face Jesuit, who is also 2-0 coming off a 37-0 win over Holy Cross.
"They are a very well coached football team," Brown said of Jesuit. "We will have to execute. They do everything to a T and are almost perfect. They are a very good football team."
Over the weekend Brown got the opportunity to hang out with two more Louisiana stars that are also committed to MSU - Torrey Bell and Quadry Antoine.
