Florida DE checking out Oregon

The Oregon Ducks recruiting has heated up recently as the Ducks added California standout Rahim Cassell to their commitment list on Wednesday. This weekend the Ducks are hosting another talented group of recruits from all over the nation. One of those recruits is three star DE Jordan Williams from Gainesville, FL. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Williams recently to get his thoughts on his upcoming visit and what he will be looking for.

"Mostly just getting to know the coaches a little bit better," said Williams. "To see how they coach and stuff before the game and how they interact with the players and stuff."

This will be Williams' second trip out to Eugene. He visited for an unofficial visit during the Ducks spring game and came away very impressed. This trip will be a little different in at least one aspect however.

"Both of my parents are coming with me this time," said Williams.

Having his parents travel along will go a long way in helping them decide whether Oregon is a place that they all see him playing at for the next four years. They will arrive in Oregon around noon on Saturday in time to meet the team for pre-game meetings and will leave Sunday evening after touring the campus, facilities and academic center.
