Ducks add Cali LB

The Oregon Ducks are on a roll on the football field. Off the field things are hot too as they just added one of the best linebackers on the west coast to their class of 2011.

Lakewood (Calif.) High School standout Rahim Cassell committed to the Oregon Ducks on Tuesday, becoming the eleventh commitment to this year's class. The 6-foot-1, 215 pound outside linebacker gave us an update on the latest development.

"Yes sir, I committed to the Ducks," the three-star athlete confirmed to Duck Sports Authority. Cassell had taken his official visit to Eugene for the Portland State game.

Cassell joins Bakersfield's Kyrie Wilson as the second linebacker to commit in this year's class to position coach Don Pellum, who was the one who fielded the phone call.
