Duke a finalist for Alabama prospect

Alabama may be a football-crazed state with a ton of high school talent but it hasn't traditionally been a state that has supplied the Duke football program with a lot of players. Despite that the Blue Devils are in great position with one of the state's top offensive line recruits.

David Simon, a 6-foot-5, 284-pound offensive tackle from Bay Minette (Ala.) Baldwin County, has 13 offers, and schools such as Mississippi State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Maryland and East Carolina are among those that have put scholarships on the table.
