UC Assistant Coach Darren Savino is in the building! 

I am pretty sure Cincinnati is not involved with anyone in this game, save Junior Etou.  Check the premium board for the underclassmen Coach Savino evaluated earlier.

In the first 3 minutes of play Junior Etou has five points, 2 rebounds, and one steal.  He hit a tough three pointer.

Junior Etou heads back to the bench.  In his time (entire 2nd quarter) I counted 6 rebounds, 8 points, and 1 steal.

He just gets to every loose ball.  That is such an attractive quality for a 6'8" 3/4.

The score is 37-34 at the break.  Two 8-minute quarters remain.

If the substitution pattern holds Junior Etou will rest throughout the 3rd quarter.  Look for him to return for the fourth and likely decisive quarter.

There are not many highlights as players are defending with pride, an usual occurence in all-star games.

Junior Etou could win MVP.   Now he is down on the floor, hopefully not a bad injury.

Etou is fine.  He finished the game, but laid on the ground for about 45 seconds.  I was scared. 

Etou getting some last second instruction from his coach.  I just realized the Hoop Group coach only has 10 more seconds of bossing Junior around.  Relish it sir.

69-66 with 16.5 left in the game.

Etou hauls in the final rebound of the game.  He set many,  many screens.  I think it showed his willingness to help the team.  Since he can hit outside shots with alarming frequency Junior causes problems for both defenders.

He really has an NBA-style pick and pop game.
