This game is going to be fun to watch tonight if you like offense. Providence leads the league in 3pt FG% and UC leads the Big East in 3pt makes.
I do find it interesting that UC's outside shooting virtually hibernated since mid-January.
A previously deadly 3-point attack has whimpered lately. UC is hitting 31.2% from deep since the UConn win.
It is not just the accuracy. More the Bearcats are shooting less from outside. Attempts are down to 21.1 per game. Just a month ago Cincinnati was averaging 21.9 per. In their Big East losses the Bearcats are only offering 19.8 outside attempts.
Not sure that this statistic directly dissects their problems, but it does align.
