By employing Antwon Jackson the UC Men's Basketball Team adds another connected East Coast recruiter.

Dividends were immediately apparent when Mick Cronin hired Darren Savino. Jermaine Sanders, Cheikh Mbodj, Titus Rubles, and Shaq Thomas were recruited primarily by Coach Savino. While he has years of experience recruiting New York/New Jersey the latest hire expands into the nation's capital.

Washington D.C. and Baltimore traditionally boast exceptional basketball talent and yet Cincinnati hardly ever recruits the region.

Anthony "Biggie" McClain attended one solitary year on the southeast side of The District, but he hails from New Jersey originally.

DerMarr Johnson grew up in D.C. but Bob Huggins largely recruited him out of Maine Central Institute.

James White played high school basketball in Maryland, outside Washington D.C. Of course, Cincinnati accepted him as a transfer from University of Florida.

Listed below are some of the top 16U AAU programs in Northern Virginia, Maryland, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. All of these players are members of the high school Class of 2014. The talented teens beholden to these programs are now realistic UC targets thanks to the arrival of Antwon Jackson.
