Harrison Central (Miss.) High School offensive lineman Nick Redmond was Mississippi State's first commitment back in September of 2009.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound three-star prospect was finally able to take his official visit to his future school this past weekend.

"I really liked it," Redmond said. "It was fun. It seemed like a really good place to go to college. I had a lot of fun being up there this weekend. I had Cameron Lawrence as my host so we went over there and chilled at his house most of the night then went out so I could see how they go out. All that seemed pretty cool."
