Joseph Morrow and Ocean Springs could not have asked to start the season on a better note.

The Greyhounds downed rival Warren Central 35-0 in the Red Carpet Bowl in impressive fashion to begin the year.

"It was a team effort," Morrow said. "We can get a lot of momentum from that. We've been talking about that game for so long. We'd been talking for three weeks about how we need to go win and be in shape. Before the game a couple of us seniors got together and talked to the team and told them we weren't losing like we did last year. We told them we wanted to go to college with rings and that was our priority."

Morrow made four catches for 51 yards in the opener playing primarily in just the first half.
