Alex Dixon won't soon forget last Wednesday.

On the same day, the Clearwater (Fla.) Countryside cornerback received offers from Florida and Tennessee.

"I was pretty excited," said Dixon, a rising senior.

The Florida offer was made over the phone by Gator offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, Dixon said.
